Suffering is a requisite element for offering real incense to God.
Synopsis:
When we allow God to mix in all the necessary parts into our lives – petitions, requests, prayers and other events, it creates thankfulness which when added to fire creates incense. The sizzling of our suffering [in fire] produces a very sweet aroma. The most powerful worship, praise and thanksgiving is the one offered while in pain, trails and persecution. We must never be dismayed when we suffer for righteousness sake like the three Hebrew boys – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Rejoice when you fall into diverse trials – the opposite of what is expected.
