Unhealed Wounds and Generational Consequences
As we sang “We Are Willing,” I felt a sudden pain in my chest. I saw a lot of younger people being put over older people in the house, and there were a lot of battles in people’s minds—wanting to turn away, shaky feet, shaky hearts, a lot of offenses. I saw a being in deep pain. It felt like it was the Lord, but also almost like the angel of the house.

I saw two people sitting by a riverbank. Their backs were torn open, and it seemed they were going to be attacked by an enemy. They had to have their wounds healed so that they could help each other—standing back to back— fight off the enemy. It almost seemed like their bodies would fuse, at the points of their wounds, as they fought this enemy. But their wounds were still very fresh and unattended to. I had an impression of unhealed offenses—unhealed wounds.

The being took me to see what would happen if we didn’t heal the wounds. I had an impression of people allowing the wounds to become infected by fungi and bacteria. After the wounds were infected, they became a generational thing—where there’s dissension and division in the body, even flowing into the future. I had the impression this was a warning to us—that if wounds were not healed, it would flow into our marriages, and in the future, our children would not talk to one other due to old wounds their parents had.

A Season of Testing and Sifting
Then I saw someone dip his hand into a rising body of water, and that spot began to turn black. I had an impression of a season of testing; it seemed like this was also a season of sifting for many.

Then I saw the months ‘September’ and ‘November’; I had the impression it was this year, though it wasn’t very clear.

I heard, “The return of the Amalekites, the Canaanites, and the Philistines.”

I had an impression of old sins coming after people, especially in their weaknesses. I also had an impression of the sins of the people we encounter during evangelism and in the new fields we enter coming after us.

Then I heard, “Do not let the Canaanites dwell among you.” This seemed to be an instruction for those who could go to battle, pick up things, and come back. We are to kill all Canaanites immediately we discover its traits in our members. For the Philistines, I had an impression that immorality, vanity, and pride were coming for people.
