I saw myself falling into a tunnel. As I fell to the bottom, I noticed that the tunnel was long and winding. It was really dark in there and it seemed there was just one lamp giving out light.
There were books around the place and a man was writing on a paper. It was a very lonely and forgotten place. I had the impression that these books represented the truth which the church was supposed to know but it didn’t know, because it was hidden away from Christians.
Then I saw myself in a pristine library. Originally, I thought it was a ballroom because it was very classy. The library was not hidden and many people were writing in books on different desks. There were books on the shelves too. The libraries had windows on opposite sides. I saw someone package what he/she wrote into an envelope and pass it through a window to a mailman who rode away on a carriage to deliver it. I saw the others give out such letters to other mailmen who also rode out on carriages. I wondered where they were taking the letters to.
Then I saw a huge field used for farming and I heard, “The harvest is plenty but the labourers are few.”
Suggested Interpretation:
This is to further impress upon our hearts the season we’ve come into, which is the season of sending out content (letters) through the media (mailman) and other agencies out.
Falling into a tunnel could mean how God caused a lot of people to stumble into the knowledge of His will through the events He orchestrated in our lives that was beyond our control.
The contrast between the lonely library and the pristine library could mean the Knowledge of the Lord and just the knowledge of the things of the spirit.
In our time today, there’s an increase of knowledge as scriptures have spoken but most of the knowledge that seems pristine and where there’s a lot of activity always lead to being puffed up and not to the building of the Lord’s people, but the knowledge of the Lord is life.
So, church groups that teach the truth of the gospel are few and always seem hidden while the loud ones are accessible to all because the knowledge there pleases the soul, example knowledge on financial prosperity, excellence etc.
