Gifts for The Shepherd

When Pastor Ita Udoh told us to come out so he could pray for us, I saw a vision of the Heavens being opened over us and a rain of white rose petals fell on us. Alongside these petals were delicate white particles resembling dust that covered our bodies. I heard that the dust represented “Grace and strength.”

I saw an angel who looked like a young man dressed in a kaftan. He was dark skinned with low afro hair. I had the impression that he was a Pastor who had cared for thousands of people. I had an impression of him being a witness, that is, a messenger and I also got the words, “A father in Kenya.”

He walked in front of us carrying a bag and from it he brought out keys for all of us. We formed a line, and he walked between us, placing the keys in our hands one after the other.

I had the impression the keys would give us access to:

  1. Wells of wisdom- I saw a well that was full of clean water and people of all ages were drinking from it.
  2. Healing balms – I saw this as small, cubed containers containing a jelly-like substance. In another vision, I saw this balm being applied on people who had sores and wounds and they got healed. I also saw that when we rubbed this balm on our lips, it seasoned our words and gave us more grace to say what was needed per time.
  3. A heart – I saw what looked like a beating heart. At first, I did not know what it was, but I eventually had an impression that it was a gift called, “a mother’s heart.”

I got that it was a state of heart accompanied with compassion and love for people. These were the three major things I saw that we would be given as we remained faithful in using the keys and in shepherding God’s children.

I understood that these keys were not temporal gifts but would be used to do ministry beyond the local congregation.
