As we stood in reverence, thanking the Lord, a vision unfolded before me. It was an elaboration of a vision I had months ago, on 22nd May 2024, during my birthday celebration at Bethel House. The brethren had prayed for me, and I saw myself with two mighty wings, but then, the wings were plucked off. In their place, two tree branches began to grow out. Over time, each branch grew into separate trees, becoming a shelter for different animals.
In that moment, I felt a stirring within me. My journey, my “flight,” would no longer be fueled by my prophetic gifts, but by making myself available as a cover for others. This would be my new “flight.”
Today, as we prayed, I saw the same vision again, but this time it wasn’t just about me. I noticed that others were undergoing similar transformations. Some had their wings replaced with tree branches, while others had trees growing out of their heads, or their legs transforming into tree trunks. But it wasn’t the same for everyone.
Later, I gained insight into the meaning behind these visions:
– The individuals whose wings were replaced with tree branches were Prophetic people.
– Those with trees growing out of their heads had Teaching gifts.
– Those whose legs became tree trunks were Evangelists.
As time passed, the branches and trunks grew thicker, and different animals came to take shelter under them—both wild and domestic. I saw these individuals being grouped into units of two or three, forming Apostolic teams. These teams were sent on missions together.
I wondered, “What about the pastoral people?” At that moment, I saw that the branches from the apostolic teams grew together, forming a larger tree. Over time, the trees expanded, and their foliage became denser.
Eventually, the apostolic teams grew so large that their branches and leaves interconnected, forming one mighty tree. Then I heard, “Systemic Shepherding.”
In that moment, I felt a sense of awe. This massive tree resembled the description given to Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:10-12, a great tree spreading its branches over the earth, providing shelter to the birds of the air and animals of the earth. I also sensed that it was a system being raised to war against Babylon and its influence.
