“Those who do not fear the Lord do this, and very effectively: they boost themselves. They encourage and assist their wicked partners. As an example, they control the airwaves, the media, the news, and the narrative about their own. So if they have a musician on their side, they write glowing articles about them. If they have an artist who puts out demonic art, they praise it. They sponsor and support their art exhibits. They publish the pictures. They convey the impression that it’s something to be admired and honored.
Meanwhile, you look at the picture and you wonder, “This gruesome, unwholesome pretense to art, how on earth can it receive the praise it is?”
And the answer is simple: They are writers. They are journalists. Their writings abound.
Look at it this way: How has the Bible achieved what it has for the glory of God? Because it was written. How have books had an impact on society, for good or for bad?
Throughout history, those who leave the greatest legacies are those who publish. Christians do not write or publish enough. This is a call to writers everywhere. To those who claim to speak for all that is righteous and holy. We must have scribes and those who have given themselves to publishing on the trumpet of the written art what God wants published. Scriptures say that the feet of those who do this will be blessed and will be carried along like the ox and the donkey (Isa 32:20). We must carry along the feet of the ox and the donkey that publish good tidings. It is time for those who claim to stand for what is right to take to scripting, announcing, discussing and putting out support for all that is right and good. These are the things the workers of iniquity, the lawless ones have done that appear to give them the loudest and most powerful voice in the world.
