NIGERIA – THE LORD’S OWN
When the meeting started and the song “Till we see Your face” was being played, I got Job 19. The scripture was Job’s response to one of his friends, Bildad. However, I kept seeing Nigeria as I kept on reading it continuously to get understanding. The later verses stood out for me:
Job 19:25-29
“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and He will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body, I will see God! I will see Him for myself. Yes, I will see Him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought! “How dare you go on persecuting me, saying, ‘It’s his own fault’? You should fear punishment yourselves, for your attitude deserves punishment. Then you will know that there is indeed a judgment.”
I saw this as Nigeria’s future. While we sang, ‘Shinning Jesus’, I saw a man go down a valley. The valley was so deep and there was no way to get out again. I had the impression of Mountain and hills being brought low. I had the impression that it had to do with those who are raising up their ugly heads and acting like demi-gods. The earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof, Nigeria inclusive.
